Inhalt

This course offers an introduction to text analysis tools applied in Digital Humanities research and Python programming for data analysis and visualization.

Through a series of exercises and discussions, students will gain a solid understanding of the fundamental concepts and differences between unstructured, semi-structured, and structured data. They will develop familiarity with a variety of data formats and digital tools to create, organize, compare, and explore data. Furthermore, course participants will learn how to analyze and visualize datasets using Python programming language. By the end of the course, students will be equipped with the skills to apply these tools to their own projects.

This course is suitable for students interested in Digital Humanities, data analysis, and visualization. No prior programming experience is required.
